The Santo Domingos

Lauren and Andres....friggin love them. He's a Colombian billionare, she's a socialite and contributing blogger for Vogue. They had a literal fairytale wedding in Cartagena, which the Santo Domingos basically own. She alternates her daily bags between Proenza Schoulers and mochilas. They are wonderfully multicultural and my relationship style icons!!! Even more amazing, his sister dates Andrea Casiraghi, as in brother to Charlotte and grandson to my all time favorite icon, Princess Grace Kelly. What a small world we live in.

Colombiano Style

I love that LSD is immersing herself in todo things Colombian... describing that her purse collection is uno shelf of Proenza Schouler PS1 bags and another shelf of about a dozen Mochilas. Mochilas are traditional woven Colombian bags... which I actually asked novio to bring me from his holiday trip. I should probably remind him since he is due back this Domingo! Sweet Swedes

Ummmmm HELLO new obsession! Stockholm StreetStyle, aka http://stockholmstreetstyle.feber.se, is BEYOND amazing. Aside from the fact that my life inspiration, Lauren Santo Domingo, is featured gallivanting in the streets of Stockholm, the blogs photogs really have an eye for functional and fun fashion. And can I please just say I am thoroughly impressed with Swedish style! Now if only Norway would get a legit streetstyle blog I'm sure they'd give their Scandinavian counterparts a run for their money! ....get your mind out of the gutter! LSD stands for Lauren Santo Domingo...I am desperate for her to do some more photoshoots! Her photos in this spread are so great, and she really is so out of the box--rather than be the typical, boring Upper East Side snoot, she's an artsy and contemporary city gal who smokes cigs and frequents South America with her Colombian bilionare husband. And she writes for Vogue. Nothing about her is normal (or fair!)

I love these in particular because I am a full-on supporter of oversized gold jewelry and tousled blonde hair :)

I am MUCHO obsessed with Senora Lauren Santo Domingo (maiden name: Davis). Basically, she leads the excessively glamorous mirror image of my own life. She also writes for a blog, though hers is part of her job at Vogue. She is also dating a Colombian named Andres, though hers is of the Santo Domingo kind which basically own the country. Alas, rather than hate her, I aspire to be like her.
