Bring on the Sun

Yo penso que Anja looks absolutely STUNNING in these fotos, she is like the posterchild for everything I love: flowers, the beach, boho style, sea salted locks, punchy makeup and au naturale, chunky jewelry, going braless, and a tiny tan body! Viva la summer!!! These are older photos, courtesy of fashiongonerogue.com

Some Things I am Obsessing Over

Just rolled out of bed freshness, body-con dresses, hair down to there, Isabel Marant coming to America, and jumpsuits

Sweet 16

I have a really hard tiempo remembering that Jenny Humphrey's real-life alter ego is only SIXTEEN. I mean...really. If only I had been that stylish at such a young age, though really, sometimes she crosses the hookerish-line....love her hair anyway.

Vintage Heidi

Ok, so I first saw this Elle Magazine on my way to Costa Rica several years ago in the airport--I didnt buy it at the time because I was mid-run to my connecting flight....and I returned to the states to find the issue had been hauled out and the next month's was in....the pictures from this spread are SO HARD to find but I want her hair in the cover picture SO BAD!!! She looks so amazing! I love how rocker chick the bangs are, but in reality, I am way too low maintenance to keep up with the cut...maybe I should just photoshop my face into this picture ;)

More Lanvin

I know I already did a post on this collection but I just can't get enough!

Not Such a Mean Girl

Resident gorgeous-girl and haircolor chameleon Rachel McAdams is beginning 2010 en vogue....as Vogue Magazine's January covergirl. I just watched The Hot Chick over the weekend and it's amazing how long Rachel's been on the scene and still kinda under the radar...in her latest interview with the fashion scion she dishes on being single, summing it up as "I'm pretty good on my own." God love her! Her chameleon ways describe not only her hair (pictured here, BLONDE of course), but also her movie roles...Mean Girls, The Family Stone, The Notebook, Red Eye....she is quite the diverse little dish!

Lanvin

I LOOOOVE this Lanvin dress from the Spring/Summer 2010 runway show. Also, what is so great in the styling is the HAIR! I love the hair, all big and thick and plopped down square on top of the model's heads. How fun!

Of course there are other great looks from the show, but mostly on brunettes, plus I love the shade of this emeradly-green contrasting with bright white blonde hair. And her skinny little legs! Ah, jealousy.

Ahh So Sorry!

I apologize @ how time has flown by since my last post. Things have been so loco here! Novio leaves Tuesday (as in, la dia after manana) for a MONTH! Una friggin mesa! :( So unfair... thankfully, my monotony gets a break since this Friday-next Sunday I will be home relishing in fam & friends. I've been diligently buying gifts and slowly packing my suitcase, as well as working on my outer beauty (tanning by the pool, working out incessantly, and spa rituals. I'm ready to WOW 'em as the girl home from the big city ;)

Speaking of WOWing 'em... let me get us all up to speed on this amazingly lithe and haphazard literary heir, Dree Hemingway. As in Ernest Hemingway. As for her own path? It's being forged as a top model, of course. I think she has a very Serena van der Woodsen-way about her, with the disheleved dirty blonde hair and killer Alexander Wang shoes. Sometimes it's hard to see someone so understated as chic, but she still manages to look great. (I always love an excuse not to brush my hair too)

Viva Rubia!

I was reading (or trying to read) People en Espanol....when I came across this absolutely stunning RUBIA on the pages. Her name is Anahi...she is from Mexico, I think she's a singer... and even though when I googled her she had many more brunette photos, I'll let it slide, considering she's Latina. Blondes are slightly less common I think.
I also read she struggled with an eating disorder. I'm not sure how long ago, but she is still very thin.
Either way, it's pretty clear that she is quite pretty. She makes me want hair extensions. And.....to improve my Spanish (though I consider Spanish tabloids a wonderful stepping stone for me--if I want the gossip I've gotta struggle through it!)

Secret's Out!

2009 Victorias Secret Fashion Show After Party

Here is la bonita Doutzen... VS Supermodel who walked in tonight's show...I think she has got one of the healthier figures on the runway (I don't dare say full-- she can't be over a size 2, but compared to Miranda Kerr and some of the other super skinny gals she thinks quite voluptuous). Additionally, she looks like a genuinely sweet person. And I love her hair.

Also, is it just me, or did the Angels-in-Training contest sport an awful lot of fake boobs? I remember a time when VS said they didn't endorse girls with breast augmentations because the lingerie didn't quite "fit right" or something.... hmmmm...
